This collection has been crafted as an ode to Rowan.
Rowan has long been a symbol of protection, boundaries, magick and the Fae. Each red berry upon this tree holds a tiny five-pointed star opposite the stalk. Both the color red as well as the pentagram have been strongly associated with protection.
You’ll find a lot of charms tied with thread within this collection. Crafting a charm by tying two Rowan twigs with red thread has been done as a way to protect yourself, your livestock or your home. Most notably, these “Rowan Crosses” have been used as a ward against the evil-eye and/or witchcraft. I wanted to give a nod to this history by creating some potent pieces of magic and lore for you all. These charms are meant to empower, embolden, protect and inspire. May these charms be a reminder of how this tree has served so many in the past.

I craft these for the wearer to imbue with their own personal intentions or to simply have something lovely to have about them!
